Toronto {Part 2}

I hope you guys are having a great weekend so far. I’ve got a little bit of a head cold {it came on yesterday afternoon} so I’ve been taking it easy. Tonight, the boy is having some people over to watch the UFC fight, and I was going to go out with a friend, but I’m just going to stay in.

When I left off yesterday {Toronto Part 1}, my sister, the boy and I had lunch and dessert on Saturday afternoon. We then decided to walk over to the Steam Whistle Brewery to see if we could go on the tour.  We walked through the Financial district and I HAD to get a photo of the sky scrapers.

By the time we got to the brewery, the Blue Jays game had let out, so it was packed!! We found out that the last tour was at 4pm, and it was shortly after 4 :( The boy and my sis grabbed free beer samples, and we hung out for a bit. We even saw some pirates! I really liked the atmosphere of the brewery… it wasn’t just a brewery but a cool place to hang out.

Since the tour was a bust, we went to the Eatons Centre to go shopping. I went to my favourite store RW & Co. and found 2 tops and a dress on sale!

We all went back to my sister & her boyfriend’s place so we could get her boyfriend, and then we could follow them to Centennial Park for RibFest. We met up with our brother there. Some of the line ups were crazy long. We ended up getting 3 different racks so we could all try some, and we even ended up with lots of ribs left over to take home to our parents.

We called it an early night–it was a pretty full day after all, and we planned to meet up early {11ish} on Sunday Morning.. Canada Day.

Stay tuned for Part 3 – Canada Day in Toronto… I’ll probably post it tomorrow.

What are your plans for the weekend?
