Yesterday morning started with Eddie opening the bedroom door at 6am; he had to have his cuddles and decided he wasn’t going to wait for me to open the door. The boy didn’t like it at all because he made a lot of noise.
After debating whether to have chocolate Chobani for breakfast once again, I decided to mix it up a bit and had some Barbara’s Puffins (gluten-free). I remember them tasting better than they actually did; there was a weird aftertaste.
I may have been able to resist the yogurt for breakfast, but come snack time, I wanted to have yogurt for my snack.. so I did!
On Monday, I was in the office longer than I had planned and had to run out to get lunch. I remembered there was a Snap Kitchen nearby and went to pick up something. I came out with two meals, one of which I saved for a rainy day (A.K.A. a day when I didn’t feel like making lunch ;) )
It was really good :) I hadn’t had goat cheese in a while, and eating it yesterday made me realize how much I missed it!
For a snack, I had some cashews prior to my run. We had our quality run; I tend to not look forward to Tuesdays because they are our hardest workouts, but since 2 out of the 4 of us weren’t going, I had to go so that my other friend wouldn’t be running alone. We did a 1.7 mile warmup, 2 miles of the actual workout, and then 1.3 miles of cooldown. I’ll admit I hadn’t planned what we were going to have for dinner, but by the time we were done with our workouts, I didn’t feel like cooking, so I said “let’s order pizza!” so we ordered from Domino’s. This is when I remind you that I don’t have celiac disease, I’m just gluten intolerant, so I’m not extremely sensitive to gluten, and Domino’s is okay with me.
It was really good.. the problem is that I was feeling a little heated and stressed about the elections, and I ate way more than I should have. I was only planning on eating half and before I knew it, the entire 10″ pizza was gone!! Tomorrow, I’m definitely going to be a lot more careful with what I eat!
Congratulations President Obama! At least the extra calories were worth it ;)
