Well hello there :)
I took a longer break than I expected; it was hard for me to start again. I kept putting it off, and I was still going to put it off some more since I’m in San Francisco / San Jose for work this week.
It’s been a busy summer with all the wedding planning, going back to Monterrey, my parents visiting, work, and just summer. It’s hard to believe this is the last week of August, and in 9 days marathon training begins! In preparation, I will be consulting with a dietitian when I get back to talk about nutrition. I do not want to gain weight during marathon training like I did last winter with half marathon training.
Health-wise, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis has been kicking my butt. This last month, I started noticing a few symptoms after almost a year of feeling well, and started writing them down. My next appointment with my endocrinologist was supposed to be this upcoming wednesday (I even got my blood work done), but I had to reschedule until September 11th due to this trip. The symptoms that have been escalating are anxiety, depression, and exhaustion. I’m on the fence about Armour Thyroid, and I’m going to talk to my endo about it. I also got this book delivered from Amazon this weekend
I read a few pages on the plane (I was distracted by Law & Order: SVU), and it’s quite interesting; the first paragraph in the acknowledgements could have been written by me to my fiancé! I’ll let you guys know what I think once I’m done.
